Obituary for Gerald Clark

Obituary of Gerald Arthur Clark

It is with deep sadness that the family of Gerald Arthur Clark announces his peaceful passing at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the age of 88.
Beloved father of Pamela Clark and step‑father of Stephanie (Andrew) Grant, Gerald was a proud grandfather to Christopher (Christine) Passero, Shawn (Kristy) Passero, Taylor (Abbee) Clark, and Ariella (Ian) Grant. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Robert Clark of Toronto.

Gerald is reunited with his wife Dona Clark (2021), his son Brian Clark (2015), and his parents Edwin and Ruth Clark.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Gerald moved with his family to Fort Erie before his first birthday and quickly put down Canadian roots. Outgoing and community‑minded, he was an active Rotarian in his younger years and for a period of time he was a member of the YMCA.

Gerald’s gentle spirit found joy outdoors, whether walking one of many collie that he had over the years, cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, or simply breathing in fresh country air. His lifelong love of horses and dogs spoke to a kindness that friends and family describe as cool, calm, and forever encouraging.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and support staff of Greater Niagara General Hospital for the compassion shown to Gerald in his final days.

Honouring Gerald’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations in his memory are welcomed to Palliative Care at Gilmore Lodge, whose gentle care aligns with Gerald’s own spirit of giving. May his easy laughter, steady encouragement, and quiet grace continue to guide those who loved him.

“Your life was a blessing, Your memory a treasure… You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
