Bob “Windy” Windeatt Obituary
WINDEATT, Bob ‘Windy’ – Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Thursday October 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of 65 years to Marlene (nee Crawford) and cherished father of Rick ‘Dipper’ Windeatt (Cindy), Tracey Williamson (Randy). Loving grandfather of Britney (Chris), Mat (Natalie) and great-grandfather of Alex, Oliver, Brenna. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Billie (Les), sister-in-law Denise (Brian) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Nellie (nee Yelland), as well as sisters Ruth, Ellen and Joan. Bob worked as an electrician for many years at NS&T, and was a retiree of General Motors Canada after 34 years of service. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, visiting Monday October 27, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday October 28, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home. In memory of Bob, memorial contributions may be made to Project Smile Niagara, Burden Bears of Black Creek or The Rankin Cancer Run, and would be appreciated.
