PASSING OF FORMER RESIDENT – DIANE TENNY
Sadly, we inform you of the passing of a former resident – Diane Tenny on Saturday November 4, 2023 at the Columbia Forest Long Term Care in Waterloo.
Diane and her husband Alan moved into their home at 510 Sunrise in the summer of 2003 and resided there until the summer of 2011. During their time here Diane was quite active in the community and for a time was Chair of the Social Committee.

Passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Columbia Forest LTC in Waterloo.
Beloved wife of Allan for 32 years.
Loving mother of Greg Matthews (Faye Ling Xuan) of Vancouver, Christopher Matthews of Windsor and the late Colin Matthews (1991). Step-mother of Liz and Jilly of the UK.
Fondly remembered by her grandchildren.
Predeceased by parents, Clinton and Norah (nee Shanley) and brother, Ron Hill (2018).
Diane’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada – Dementia Research would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
