BCHOA Memberships

BCHOA Members & Non-Members

It has come to our attention that there are homes with only one BCHOA
member where there are 2 residents living.
According to our paralegal Nicole Fazzari, both residents in the home must
be a member of the BCHOA for her to represent your unit in any legal
action when Above Guideline Increases (AGI) are filed with the Landlord &
Tenant Board by Parkbridge.
If your spouse or partner is living in long term care or in a facility as they
can no longer live at home, you should have proof to give you consent to
represent and speak on their behalf. We do not need a copy of that proof
but must acknowledge it with your consent form which we requested last
year.
If there are 2 residents in a home who have chosen not to be a BCHOA
member, or only one of two with a membership, and you wish to have legal
representation it would be at your expense.
Parkbridge can choose to give any negotiated reductions of the AGI’s to
BCHOA members only.
We are now working on an AGI which totals over $600,000.00
The membership cost is $15.00 per person per year. This is a reasonable
cost to be legally represented.
We will be available in the Library Monday Feb. 17, Wednesday Feb 19,
from 10 am to 11 am. and Saturday Feb. 22, 1 pm to 2 pm. for you to
obtain a membership and fill out the form.
