Bob Byrne Obituary

Stevensville, ON – It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Bob. He was a devoted and loving husband to Mary for 68 years and a caring, amazing father to Jeff, Christine and predeceased by his boy, Stephen, in 1985. He is survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He had only a grade eight education, but worked hard in his life. He started shovelling coal in the laker ships and learned many different skills and trades. Eventually, in partnership opened his pride and joy, Shelby Sheet Metal, in 1980. Through his job as the “Boss,” he gave many people the opportunity to get into a trade. He was kind, loving and very generous in his life, and above all, he loved his family. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
