Dapper Scrappers reminder
Another six months has past, it started out as a wet spring but just a glorious summer and early fall.
It is time to reach into your refrigerator and take out your L.I.V.E. vial again.
We are reminding you to update the yellow medical information sheet in the vial. Make whatever changes are necessary (or there may be no changes). The important thing is that you change the date at the bottom of the sheet to the current date.
It is very important that the date at the bottom of the sheet be no more than six months old for the first responders to consider that the sheet contains valid data. Do not forget both sides of the sheet if you are filling it out for two people.
Once the data on the yellow sheet is up to date put it in the vial, and return it to the top shelf of your refrigerator door. With your blue sticker on your entrance door, the emergency responders will look in the fridge for the vial on the top shelf.
New yellow sheets are available in the library as are additional vials.
If you do not know what the L.I.V.E. program is all about (there should have been a L.I.V.E. vial in your welcome package) you may get a vial from the basket in the library. The vial wrapper explains what the program is about and how to use the vial.
If you have any questions, please call Glen at 382-6292 or Sandy at 905-325-2213.
This program is brought to you by the Dapper Scrappers who collect all metal scrap, appliances, returnable bottles, and empty aluminium cans around the park, sort it and sell it, and the monies received are ploughed back into projects in the park for the benefit of the residents.
Thank You
Sandy and Glen
