NATIONAL EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS WEEK – OPEN HOUSE

Open to Residents and their Families
In conjunction with the National Emergency Preparedness Week Black Creek Leisure Homes is holding an Open House hosted by the ETF (Emergency Task Force) committee.
Come meet your Provincial Member of Parliament Wayne Gates and Ward 6 Councillor Ann-Marie Noyes. Also in attendance will be The Fort Erie Fire Department, Niagara Emergency Management (EMS) and Niagara Regional Police.
Each branch will have a display table providing valuable emergency preparedness information and be available to answer pertinent questions. Weather and staffing permitted, the Fire Department will hold an outdoor demonstration on the use of fire extinguishers allowing residents to use and put out a small controlled fire.
Leo Mercier will also present alternate options for when the hydro does go off for an extended period and answer questions.
This is also your opportunity to meet the ETF committee, Block Captains and discuss our in-house emergency plans.
We encourage all residents to invite their family members to this very important open house. Light refreshments will be available.
