It has been brought to my attention that the email I sent out for the N1 that was received recently needed a little more clarification.
This N1 is for the GENERAL INCREASE of your rent, which is set by our provincial government. They set a percentage every year for anyone who pays rent. They base it on inflation, and for 2023 that percentage is
2.50%. The box directly under the shade the following is the only one that should be marked. If the percentage is over 2.50%, or that box is not marked, then your N1 is not correct.
You have up till about the middle of June to make Crystal aware of the error. They will have to investigate and reissue a new N1. This will postpone your increase again, as they have to give you 90 days notice.
