PASSING OF FORMER RESIDENT – DONNA JOHNSTON
We are saddened to hear of the passing of a former resident. Donna Johnston passed away suddenly on Sunday June 16th in her 80th year at Niagara General with her wife Diane by her side.
Donna resided at 285 Beaver Pond Drive for many years, leaving our community in the summer of 2019. She enjoyed playing golf and stayed in contact with many friends while playing at the Fort Erie Golf Club.
Her many friends will miss her, and condolences extended to her wife Diane and her family.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie are entrusted with the arrangements. Family and friends are invited on Saturday June 22, from 4 pm to 7 pm for a viewing with a Celebration of Life starting at 6 pm. If so desired, donations can be given in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Society.
