PASSING OF RESIDENT BOBBIE EVANS (RIVERS)
Sadly, on this Christmas Day we advise the community of the passing of one of our favourite ladies. At the age of 98, Bobbie Evans passed away peacefully in the Niagara Falls General Hospital with family by her side.
Bobbie and her then husband Gord Evans moved into their home at 293 Beaver Pond Dr. in February of 1996. She was an avid Bridge Player and an extremely talented golfer and at that time was the best golfer here at Black Creek and well known in golf circles both locally and internationally.
Gord passed away in the fall of 2000 and in July of 2003 Bobbie and Roy Rivers became a couple moving into their new home at 312 Pinewood Dr in November of that year.
Condolences on her passing are extended to Roy, her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Benner Funeral Home in Fort Erie has been entrusted with Bobbie’s arrangements. There will be no visitation, services, etc. at this time. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a future date and when advised we will pass the information along to you.
