PASSING OF RESIDENT – FRED KENNIS
We are indeed saddened to share with you the passing of Fred Kennis. Fred passed away in Gilmore Lodge on Thursday August 29, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
In July of 2009 Fred and his wife Bev moved into their home at 101 Tamarack, in the spring of 2023 Fred went into Gilmore Lodge. In December of 2023 Bev moved into 39 Robin Road, Fred was too ill to come home and was in Gilmore Lodge until his passing.
Many of us remember Fred well as he was quite active in the community until he became ill. He was also quite artistic and did a lot of ‘sculpture’ work.
There are no services, visitation, etc., planned.
The condolences of our community go out to Bev and her son on the loss of Fred.
