The Emergency Task Force has been advised of two planned hydro outages. For residents who are dependent on hydro for oxygen or other mechanical life saving devices such as CPAP’s please take note of these times and plan accordingly.
Dear Valued Customer-
CNP is planning a short duration town wide outage. This outage will take place on Sun Aug 20, 2023, at 02:00 am. We anticipate the outage to be approx. 30 mins but will endeavour to keep it is as short as possible.
This outage is required to reconfigure the system supply to facilitate an upgrade to the transmission system using CNPI’s International Power Line (“IPL”).
A second outage will be required to restore the default supply system configuration. The second outage is scheduled to occur on Sunday, October 1, 2023, between the hours of 02:00 am and 02:30 am.
