To All Black Creek Residents

To: All the residents of Black Creek Retirement Community.

If you have been to the mailboxes in the last couple of days, you will see signs that have been put up by the Postmaster from Canada Post Stevensville.

There are residents at Black Creek who have:
  • Been rude to the Postie
  • Tried to interfere with them completing their job
  • Walked their dogs around the Postie while they are trying to do their job
  • Blocked in the Mail Delivery vehicle
  • Drove the wrong way, over curbs to block the vehicle
  • Smoked at the end of the pad while they are trying to complete their job.
Canada Post is telling the residents of Black Creek
that NO ONE can be on the pad when the postie is doing their job. It is a Federal offense to interfere with the postie doing their job.
You can get your mail after Postie has completed their job and DROVE away.

They will write down the license plate and call the Police if anyone blocks the Postie’s vehicle while doing their job.

If people continue to interfere with the Postie at the mailboxes, they have been told to stop what they are doing and take the rest of the mail back to the Post Office in Stevensville.
If this continues, they will discontinue delivery to Black Creek.

The postmaster will be taking next steps if things do not change.

This is serious stuff. A poster has been posted on the Bulletin Board to tell everyone about this.

There is no excuse for this.
