Passing of Former Resident – Elaine Cooke
Elaine Cooke October 26, 1935 – March 31, 2023
We are saddened to advise the community of the loss of another former resident. Elaine Cooke passed away suddenly on March 31, 2023, with her family by her side. Elaine and her husband Bob moved into their new home at 514 Sunrise Drive, in the spring of 2007. They enjoyed many of the social events, dances, etc. for many years. In December 2022 they moved into assisted living in Port Colborne. Elaine’s friends and neighbours here in Black Creek remember her fondly. Our condolences to her husband Bob and their family.
The Cooke family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the Davidson Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, 2251 Ridgemount Road, Stevensville, Ontario. If you wish, a memorial donation to Gillian’s Place (women’s shelter) can be made in lieu of flowers.
