Good News.
Starting on Monday November 1st, residents attending the hall for an activity, library visits, swimming or pool will be able to produce proof of vaccination certificates and subsequently be allowed to enter the hall without signing the declaration book on future visits. Once you do this you will only have to give the door attendant your name and they will verify your status from a list. Please bear with the attendant as they will have to find your name on the current attendee list or add it to the list if it’s your first visit to the hall. Until you have proven full vaccination you will have to continue to sign in on your honour. For more information please read the door attendant’s instructions below. You must still sign the contact tracing sheet. That is Parkbridge’s book and it is still a mandate.
Door Attendant’s Instructions.
There will be an Alpha list of people who have been attending the hall on a regular basis.
When a resident comes to the hall on or after November 1st and they have their vaccine certificate you must verify that both dates are on the certificate. Find their name on the Alpha list and enter the date they presented their certificate in the appropriate box.
Insure that they still sign the contact tracing sheet with Parkbridge’s logo on it.
In some cases it may be the resident’s first time at the hall. If they have their certificate, manually add their name, unit number and the days date to the bottom of the sheet. If they do not produce a certificate they must sign in the old way and verify their status on their honour.
On future visits they just have to sign the contact tracing sheet but the attendant must verify that they are on the list of fully vaccinated residents.
This plan has been approved by the BCHOA and is another step in making life a little easier and more normal.
